EyeDC makes frames for people who look twice at things. The V496 is one of those frames.
 
The same DNA as the V498 — semi-rimless, structurally honest, frog logo quietly etched into the lens — but here the acetate upper bar takes on a swept, slightly angular form that lifts at the outer corners like a whisper of a cat-eye. In matte purple with a pearlescent depth, it catches light in a way that flat colour never could. The slim black metal lower rim and exposed bridge keep everything grounded, the construction as visible and deliberate as ever.
 
This is a French independent brand with a cult following for exactly this kind of thinking: take an unconventional structure, add a colour choice that most designers wouldn't dare, and trust the person wearing it to carry it off. The V496 does all of that without raising its voice.
