The PO3108S Typewriter Edition takes its name — and its soul — from the mechanical precision of the mid-century typewriter. The slim silver metal key-shaped bridge sits at the centre of the frame like a functional sculpture, referencing the ink keys of a vintage machine while simultaneously serving as the most elegant bridge detail Persol has ever produced. Against the warm honey-brown striped acetate frame, it creates a material contrast that is both technically brilliant and visually magnetic.
 
The deep blue lenses are darker and more saturated than the Calligrapher's light mirrors — richer, moodier, and equally beautiful against the amber acetate. The full round panto shape, the Meflecto flexible temples, the signature Persol arrow — all present, all exactly right.
Includes original Persol leather case. A limited edition that was celebrated at launch and has only grown in reputation since.
