Jemi Lure
146 Years of French Craft – Gouverneur Audigier JEMI LURE | Gold | Optical
There are very few eyewear houses that can say they have been making frames since 1878. Gouverneur Audigier is one of them.
Founded by Clément Gouverneur in Morez — the Jura valley, the historic cradle of French eyewear manufacturing — the house has spent nearly 150 years producing frames by hand, with the same dedication to craft that earned them France's highest distinction: the EPV label, awarded only to companies that represent the pinnacle of French artisanal and industrial excellence.
The JEMI LURE is Gouverneur at its most refined. An ultra-slim cat-eye wire frame in polished gold, so light it is barely there — wire-thin rims tracing an elegant upward sweep at the outer corners, with a single delicate saddle bridge and hair-fine temples that fold with surgical precision. This is not a frame that announces itself. It whispers. And in doing so, it says everything.
For the person who knows exactly what they're wearing — and why it matters.
