The PO3166S Calligrapher Edition is one of Persol's most distinctive limited releases — a sophisticated hybrid construction that combines a warm honey-brown acetate outer frame with a slim silver metal inner bridge, the two materials meeting at the centre in a detail that references the fine-nib precision of the calligrapher's craft. The result is a frame that manages to feel simultaneously vintage and contemporary, warm and precise, substantial and light.
 
The light blue mirror lenses complete a colour story that is both unexpected and completely right — the warm amber-brown of the acetate, the cool silver of the metal, and those pale sky-blue mirrored lenses catching light with every angle.
